same to a baby girl she will want a doll?

Why do they tell you to give a baby water if they’re constipated? What can I do for her??

why do doctors say it’s so horrible to put just water in your baby’s bottle?
i took my 6 week old to an appointment and he said that my son had gained too much weight. he said to tide him off so he could go longer between feedings was to put a half ounce of water and feed him that. but he said to do it only once a day because giving your baby water isn’t good for them?

i don’t understand that. water is basically 95% of what you feed your baby if you bottle feed. anyone know why it’s bad?

I ask because I took my son to the doctors last week and this couple sitting in front of me had a newborn baby girl. I’d say she was about 2 weeks old. They fed her about 2 oz. of formula while we were sitting there and you could tell after she finished that, she was still hungry. Her mom gave her another 2 oz. of just water. I thought that was odd because I had heard that babies don’t need anything but milk? I’m just curious if this is ok?? Can I give me 10 week old son just water if he’s still hungry after eating an 8 oz. bottle?? Thanks!

Baby is 6 months old and has been breastfed only and started baby foods at 4 months. I have to return to work and he will not take a bottle of formula. I don’t blame him, the stuff tastes and smells yucky! I think he is still too young for real dairy products but was just curious about when he will be old enough.
Did the breastmilk in the bottle and he drank out of it fine for a few months but now will not drink from the bottle. He chews on it but no sucking.
